Our Graduation Coach, Ms. Georita Anthony, has worked in education since 2005. She began working with Lighthouse Connections Academy in 2023. She has her bachelor's in human services from the University of Phoenix.

 

Ms. Anthony has worked with children of all ages but found her calling with teens and young adults. "I have worked with youth in and out of the education setting. I have a passion for our youth. Helping them walk into adulthood with knowledge and skills to be successful is fulfilling."

 

Ms. Anthony loves that she's able to reach students in any capacity at our school. She also loves the amount of support that is offered to staff and families.

 

She believes that we help prepare students for college and beyond due to the freedom and flexibility. "They have an insight on how college and jobs work outside of an 8-3:00 PM school day. They are becoming experts at time management.

 

Students are also well-equipped to prioritize their schedules. They are also taught life skills and advocacy."
